STEPS TO GETTING A MAMMOGRAM
AFTER AGE  40

   You do not have a healthcare provider

 

  • Call a breast cancer center of healthcare clinic to make an appointment.         *see centers below

  • If you do not have insurance, please contact the Sage Screening Program at the Minnesota Department of Health.

  • Your mammogram appointment is set for 30 minutes; the actual time for your mammogram is five minutes or less.

  • If the mammogram looks fine, your results will appear in your portal, or be mailed to you.

  • If your provider has concerns about the mammogram, they will call you.

  • Call your provider if you haven’t received results in one week.

You already have a healthcare provider
